The 4 baby birds and momma bird are really pretty. They are thin, but delicately crafted. Not too small about 1 1/2 inches in length. The necklace is very thin as well, but as long as you treat it like jewelry and are not rough with it, you will be ok. Also the shipping was fast; another plus for me. I loved my 14K gold necklace and yes I would recommend.
